Wilderness
Waters of Rest provides Christ-centered Boundary Waters canoe trips bringing Bible study into the wilderness
with a unique blend of teamwork, quiet time, traveling light, and time away from technology.
Keeping it real…
A struggle: The physical work, mental challenge, and relational focus in a Boundary Waters trip can be intense. As our culture has become more sedate, an active outdoor trip can be quite a jump from the comfort and leisure we value in our culture. But it’s good!
A invitation: May this be an invitation to be a bit more active this spring, to seek adventure over comfort, and to embrace the joy of teamwork on a wilderness trip. These may not be in our lives yet, but these trips offer new rhythms and for you to enjoy here and as you journey on.
A hope: Almost everyone you ask who has been to the Boundary Waters can talk about the fun, life lessons, challenges, and growth that happens on a trip. My hope is that your experience on trail is memorable and life-changing in many good and lasting ways.
